We are eight months away the general election, but the Strafford County Democratic Committee is already planning a campaign to support state and federal candidates up and down the county, and we need resources to open campaign offices and support candidates.

Our next meeting will be on March 12, 6PM at South Main Pizza in Farmington.

We'll go over what happened at our town meetings and local elections.We may have more guests, but Jay Surdukowski is planning to attend and meet with us.  Jay is running for Executive Council District #2.  Cinde Warmington (running for Executive Council District #2) would like to attend our April meeting.

Twenty candidates have qualified to appear in the first Dem primary debates. The debates will be over two nights, with ten candidates appearing at each event; the first is tonight, June 26th and the second June 27th.

If you already favor one or more candidates I'd also advise signing up for their individual e-mail notifications of their events, as they may have the most up to date schedule and have last minute changes listed. They would also be the most likely to have private RSVP events listed that you might want to attend.

The Strafford County Democratic Committee will once again be holding our Annual Picnic to raise funds for our efforts to elect Democratic candidates in Strafford County.

 Please join us for food and solidarity and to meet and hear from our local candidates at Rollinsford Park across from the American Legion at 551 Foundry St.. Rollinsford.

 $20 per ticket if bought in advance $ 10 per ticket for students and volunteers $25 at the door ticket purchases $45 Family Tickets for families with children 12 yrs. & over Free for Children under 12 years old

Sponsor the picnic for just $125 or whatever you want to donate. Sponsorships of $125.00 or more includes 2 tickets. You may sponsor for both picnic and fall events and pay $200, this will include 2 tickets for each event, (not 4 for either).

 Sponsors will be posted on our appreciation board at the picnic, be posted on the Strafford County Democratic Committee website (with your approval). If you know of anyone that you think would be a sponsor please let us know! Or, If you are interested in sponsoring the event but have questions please contact us at straffordcountydemocrats@gmail.com.

The money raised after expenses from our event will go to supporting local Democrats. This is going to be a great opportunity to catch up with old Democratic friends and meet new ones. Mingle and meet while enjoying delicious burgers and hot dogs, homemade salads and desserts. Catch up with what other county Democrats are doing and get to hear firsthand where your candidates stand on the issues.  

Vegetarian and gluten-free options available!

You can count on every cent of our net proceeds going to elect Strafford County Democratic Candidates! Every election is important but this election could be the pivotal event determining where our country goes and what values are represented.

We'll also be having 50/50 raffles so make sure you bring cash and make sure you get your tickets early!

 The preferred payment method is by check. They can be mailed to; Strafford County Democratic Committee, PO Box 247, Dover NH 03821.

 The last date to mail checks would be Monday, August, 6th. Please include your name, address, email address or phone number, occupation, and employer address with your payment.

You can also buy tickets using a credit card via ActBlue. Tickets via ActBlue will be available until Friday, August 10th. Tickets will be sold at the gate depending on availability.

Nina Turner is coming to town! If you've never seen her speak before, you're in for a treat. She will give the opening speech at an event we're calling the Progress & Congress Candidate Forum. Please RSVP to join : radnh.org/progress_congress Rights & Democracy NH is thrilled to announce that we are hosting a candidate forum for congressional candidates in CD 1, and Nina Turner of Our Revolution will be our special guest speaker at the event! Happy New Year!  This is a reminder that the Tri-Town Democrats will meet in Milton at the Emma Ramsey Center this coming Thursday, January 11, at 7:00 PM.  Our guests will be two of the candidates for NH Congressional District #1, the seat currently held by Carol Shea-Porter.   Candidates Mindi Messmer and Terence O'Rourke will each have 15 minutes to address us and then open for questions.

• Thursday January 11, 2018: TriTown Democrats Meeting at Emma Ramsey Center in Milton.  Guests will be Congressional Candidates Mindi Messmer and Terence O'Rourke.

• Thursday February 8, 2018: TriTown Democrats Meeting at Emma Ramsey Center in Milton with Congressional Candidates Lincoln Soldati and Chris Pappas.

• Thursday March 8, 2018: TriTown Democrats Meeting at New Durham Library in New Durham with Executive Councilor Andru Volinsky (District #2).
•   Thursday April 12, 2018:TriTown Democrats Meeting at Emma Ramsey Center in Milton with Congressional Candidates Mark MacKenzie and Deaglan McEachern
